Fiji · Sandy Fawn
Natural texture, beautifully at home — woven shades thoughtfully layered into the dining room and entryway.
An organic note in a tailored interior.
Ivory draperies, white-painted millwork, dark metal rods, and warm wood finishes establish a quiet, cohesive palette. Against these crisp architectural lines, Fiji in Sandy Fawn introduces a more tactile element: irregular horizontal strands in shades of oat, taupe, and softened brown.
The project correspondence first explored Capri in Slate Grey and Catalina in Riverstone. The confirmed selection was Fiji in Sandy Fawn, specified with a Pearl light-filtering liner and a cordless top-down/bottom-up system. The final inside-mount dimensions were reviewed with a flush-fitting installation in mind.
In the photographed rooms, that combination reads as a thoughtful balance — natural variation within a neatly framed window, with the fabric bringing quiet depth to an already layered space.

A subtly varied, sandy-taupe weave became the confirmed material for the order.
Tailored light control
Cordless top-down/bottom-up shades with a Pearl light-filtering liner and inside-mount sizing.
Grounded texture, softly framed.
The dark-stained dining table anchors a room full of tactile contrasts: woven seating, light slipcovers, ivory drapery, and the soft geometry of a patterned ceramic vessel. Sandy Fawn picks up the warmer notes in the chairs and wood flooring while holding its own against bright white window trim. The open upper glass keeps the greenery outside in view, and the shade’s woven face gives the lower part of each window a distinctive texture.

A welcoming sense of continuity.
Beside the home’s entrance, the same woven shade sits between long white drapery panels and bright window casing. Its muted tan and brown fibers add warmth to the lighter walls, while the black curtain rod introduces a clean graphic accent. Across the two views, the natural weave connects comfortably with pale wood flooring, woven wall accents, and relaxed entryway furnishings — carrying the material story from one room to the next.

The beauty is in the weave.
From across the room, Sandy Fawn reads as a quiet neutral. Up close, its character becomes more apparent: varied horizontal fibers, fine vertical binding threads, and slight shifts from sandy beige to weathered brown. The weave is dimensional rather than uniform, lending the shade a material presence that printed pattern alone cannot reproduce.
Fiji, Sandy Fawn.
Made from a blend of jute and hemp, this fabric reveals a naturally irregular rhythm of warm, weathered fibers. Sandy Fawn’s nuanced beige, taupe, and gentle brown tones are especially visible in the original swatch, where slender vertical threads bring order to the more organic horizontal weave.
In the home, the same material bridges architectural whites, soft draperies, woven furnishings, and richly colored wood — with a distinctly natural finish.
